Kari is an ATS-certified therapist and underwent an extensive training program. Combined with her equine rehabilitation certification and experience in the veterinary field she felt this was an essential treatment modality to offer the equine community.

Acuscope and Myopulse therapy can benefit horses in all disciplines and during all life stages.
The Acuscope and Myopulse instruments are FDA-approved forms of microcurrent therapy with a low voltage and amperage along with a biofeedback mechanism that has been proven to treat neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, provide pain relief and accelerate recovery time by up to 50%.
This is a non-invasive, pain free modality for treating both acute and chronic conditions. Kari’s instruments are specifically programmed and calibrated to treat animal tissue. They are designed to interface with the animal’s physiology and increased metabolic function which differs from the human calibrated instruments on the market. The biofeedback capability creates a two-way communication with the body, constantly scanning the area for damaged cells, and introducing specific frequencies to target the area appropriately. This results in an individualized treatment for each patient without the danger of over-treatment.
Acuscope: This instrument works directly through the central nervous system. It opens the neural pathways and normalizes the level of current in the cells. The Acuscope introduces low level electrical current into the tissue cells to increase the availability of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and amino acids as well as increasing protein synthesis so cellular repair can take place. Reduction in the electrical resistance within the pathological area is provided so the electrical current can flow through the damaged tissue to enhance the body’s natural healing process.
Myopulse: This instrument reduces muscle spasm, inflammation and strengthens tissue damaged by traumatic injury or chronic stress. This is the companion instrument to the Acuscope. It has direct access to all soft and connective tissue. The Myopulse sends corrective signals specific to muscle and other contractile tissue so the cells can begin the work of self-repair.
